I’m Amy and I live in Cardiff in the UK with my mum, my step-dad and my little sister. My mum’s name is Emma and she’s got long, wavy, fair hair and big eyes. She’s clever and kind. My step-dad’s name is Tony. He’s tall with short, dark hair. I like him a lot, because he’s cool. My sister is Ann. She's got curly, dark hair and big eyes. She's very funny. We are a happy family! We love animals and we’ve got three pets. We’ve got two cats and their names are Salt and Pepper. We’ve also got a dog. His name is Charlie and he’s very friendly. He enjoys going for walks in the park. On weekdays, I get up at 7 o’clock, have a shower and eat breakfast. I take Charlie for a walk and then I go to school. I come back home at 4 o’clock. I do my homework in the living room with Tony. He works from home, so we do our work together. Then, when we finish, we have a cup of tea and a biscuit! On Tuesdays and Thursdays, I have a French lesson in the evening, but I’m always home in time for dinner at 7:30. I go to bed at 10 o’clock and read a book until I feel sleepy. Walking Charlie every morning is my favourite chore, but I also do the washing-up after dinner every evening. Tony cooks dinner and Mum vacuums the carpets and Ann takes the rubbish out. So we all help around the house. That way, we all have lots of free time to do the things we enjoy. Tony’s favourite free-time activity is playing sport. He plays football on Saturdays and Sundays. Mum, Ann and I sometimes watch him play. He’s very good! Mum likes going swimming with Ann in her free time. I play basketball at the weekends with my friends and I often post comments on social media in the evenings – but not on Friday nights. That’s when I watch a film with my family and we eat pizza. It’s my favourite part of the week!
