Hi, everyone!

2
00:00:14,458 --> 00:00:16,878
<br>This week at my school it was Spirit Week.

3
00:00:17,407 --> 00:00:24,259
For those of you who <br>don’t know what this is, it’s when we do fun activities in school to feel <br>happy and proud about our school.

4
00:00:24,603 --> 00:00:29,791
Basically, it makes kids feel like <br>they want to come to school instead of feeling like they need to go.

5
00:00:30,809 --> 00:00:32,383
<br>We did lots of fun things.

6
00:00:32,674 --> 00:00:38,468
On Monday, we had a dress-up day where <br>we all went to school dressed as a famous person from the past.

7
00:00:38,825 --> 00:00:45,526
<br>Some kids were wearing clothes from fancy dress shops and others <br>made their outfits themselves, but everyone looked great.

8
00:00:46,244 --> 00:00:51,429
<br>On Tuesday, we had a charity day and we all brought tins and <br>packets of food to school.

9
00:00:51,945 --> 00:00:55,212
We were collecting the food to give to <br>people in need in our town.

10
00:00:55,768 --> 00:00:57,951
<br>On Wednesday, we had an animal day.

11
00:00:58,308 --> 00:01:02,271
We wore animal print clothes <br>or T-shirts with pictures of animals on.

12
00:01:02,813 --> 00:01:05,115
Some kids even dressed up <br>as animals.

13
00:01:05,472 --> 00:01:07,853
A lot of the lessons had animals in them too.

14
00:01:08,104 --> 00:01:10,864
For <br>example, in English we read ‘The Jungle Book’.

15
00:01:11,372 --> 00:01:15,121
<br>Thursday was a sports day and we played different sports all day.

16
00:01:15,557 --> 00:01:18,375
<br>Then on Friday, we all wore our pyjamas.

17
00:01:18,547 --> 00:01:19,645
That was so funny!

18
00:01:20,213 --> 00:01:24,990
I was <br>laughing all day because some of the boys were wearing their mum’s <br>nightdresses!

19
00:01:25,359 --> 00:01:26,324
<br>What about you?

20
00:01:26,549 --> 00:01:28,524
Do you have a Spirit Week at your school?

21
00:01:29,212 --> 00:01:31,064
<br>Post a comment and tell me about it!
